Goodwin Proctor

After occupying space in the Financial District for over 100 years, the international law firm known to most as Goodwin Procter, now Goodwin, chose to leave  home to join the innovative Seaport District. As Fan Pier’s anchor tenant, Goodwin occupies 360,000 square feet at newly constructed 100 Northern Avenue. The space promotes natural light and transparency,  increased mobility and collaboration, integration of leading edge technologies, and spectacular views of the Boston Harbor.

East Coast partnered with Creative Office Pavilion to create the interior spaces. They installed 660 private offices designed to look like custom millwork, and 250 workstations. All occupied spaces included ambient lighting, requiring coordination and precise sequencing with the contractor and electricians. East Coast also installed all ancillary product, conference center, café, and coordinated delivery and pickup of repurposed reupholstered product.

In order to support the team in meeting tight construction deadlines, East Coast had to be extremely flexible and creative, running 2 shifts, and ramping up and down to accommodate other activities without impediment.
