Sonos’ new 120,000 sf headquarters at Avenue de Lafayette, Boston required a distinctive industrial look to support its brand. Designed and manufactured by Muraflex, East Coast installed over 900 LF of custom-designed single glazed wall systems with cross mullions, tying in at several design elements like custom millwork, steel cross beams, and over a 2-story atrium. The project also includes custom full 9’0″ wood doors, entry doors with magnetic floor locks, and a reception area with transom glass. Due to the complexity of the installation, with each location involving a minimum of 20 cuts to the metal extrusion framing, extreme precision and craftsmanship were required to complete the project.
